HIP PAIN

The hip is one of the most-used joints in the body. From supporting your weight to allowing you to run, walk, sit, and more, the hips provide several key functions in your everyday life. This means that dysfunction of the hip joint can become a major problem. Our physical therapists focus on decreasing or eliminating hip pain, improving range of motion, and restoring mobility.

Ankle sprains occur when the foot twists beyond its range of motion, ligaments to stretch or even tear. At Wasatch Peak Physical Therapy, we can treat a wide range of ankle injuries, including sprains. Our safe, effective, and all-natural treatments will help restore your range of motion, regain your strength, reduce your pain, improve your balance, and get you back to enjoying your daily activities.

PATIENT TOOLS TO HELP GET YOU STARTED

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to see my doctor before I come to physical therapy?

Some insurance providers require a referral from a doctor before they’ll cover physical therapy. If you’re not sure whether your plan requires an initial doctor visit, feel free to contact us, and we’ll help you determine the best course of action.

How much will physical therapy cost?

The cost of physical therapy depends on your insurance, the type of treatments you need, and the duration of treatment. If you’re not sure about how much you can expect to pay, don’t hesitate to give us a call, and we’d be happy to give you an estimate.

Do I need insurance for physical therapy?

No, you don’t need insurance for physical therapy. We offer our services to both insured and non-insured patients. If you have specific questions about our pricing without insurance, feel free to reach out to us so we can discuss the expected cost of your treatment.

How many times will I need to come?

It’s hard to know how many physical therapy appointments you’ll need without a detailed evaluation of your symptoms and medical history. We may be able to give you a rough estimate based on what we’ve seen in similar cases, but for a more accurate timeline, you’ll need to come in for an assessment.

What should I wear?

You should wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Keep in mind that you’ll be performing exercises and strengthening activities, so your clothes should allow you to move freely. Additionally, it’s a good idea to wear something that allows easy access to the injured area so your physical therapist can better observe your movements and provide necessary corrections.
